For 40 years, Crohn’s & Colitis Australia has been empowering the almost 180,000 Australian men, women and children living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis – collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) – to live fearlessly. At CCA we empower those with IBD to live fearlessly as we drive towards a cure and ultimately a future that is free of Crohn’s and Colitis.
About the Role
Crohn’s & Colitis Australia is seeking a dynamic project officer to support projects that will make a difference to the health of people living with IBD. The initial focus of the role will be on consumer health literacy resources and health professional educational resources. You will be a self-starter with excellent people skills and knowledge of the not-for-profit sector. You will be supporting projects, in collaboration with management, stakeholders, consumers and their carers. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of defined project outcomes within agreed timeframes, budgets, quality and resources. The role will require research and analysis to inform project development, implementation, senior management and advisory committees.
Experience and skills required
- Health science or clinical health related qualification
- Experience in producing health literacy resources, research surveys, data management and report writing
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and/or clinicians
- Project management skills
- Demonstrated high attention to detail, organisational and communication skills
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
