Mary’s Story

Growing up in my early teens I was always so tired, malnourished, and in severe abdominal pain. After multiple misdiagnoses – I was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2017 and the world began to make a little more sense.  After years of trialing and failing different medications, I have recently started Infliximab infusions along with Imuran and am finally getting some success.

As my bowels slowly begin to heal, my lifestyle has too! I am able to work, eat, exercise, and explore the world. I have been very fortunate to get pregnant and thanks to Infliximab everything is going smoothly! I look forward to one day hearing the words “You’re in remission!” but for now I am making the most of every day and grateful that I am getting better with each passing day.
