The IBD Toolkit
This comprehensive information kit is an extensive resource including information on more than 20 different topics that can directly affect people living with Crohn’s or ulcerative colitis. There are contributions from medical experts and it includes detailed information regarding diet and nutrition, medications, surgery, emotional factors, children and IBD etc.
This 150-page information kit is the first Australian publication of its kind and is available exclusively to members of Crohn’s & Colitis Australia.
It is available online in the Members section of our website as an e-Book.
New Member Info Pack
Upon joining, each new member receives a New Member Information Pack via the post within 2-3 weeks of registering.
The kit features a range of hard-copy literature, including:
- a welcome letter detailing membership benefits and how to access them
- recent editions of Inside Insight
- the ‘Wellbeing Toolkit’ booklet
- ‘My Partner in IBD Care’ booklet
- various other helpful brochures
- your personalised “Can’t Wait Card”
Can’t Wait Card
The Can’t Wait Card is issued to new members of CCA who have been formally diagnosed with Crohn’s or colitis (IBD), to help them gain access to a toilet in times of urgency. It will be included in your New Member Information Pack (see more further down this page).
The personalised card is the same size as a credit card for convenient storage, and displays the diagnosed person’s name and CCA member number. The card identifies that person as someone who requires urgent access to a toilet due to a medical condition. More >

Our member-only section features current and back issues of the Inside Insight magazine, the e-Book version of The Inside Story Toolkit, all research update videos and various important links to other content
‘Members first’
Through Member e-News, CCA members are the first to know about events, advocacy opportunities and more, including:
