Want to talk about inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) with people who get it but don’t know anyone your age who has it?
YEP! Online is a community of 12-17-year-olds just like you – strong, intelligent, courageous, and living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.
Join our new platform to chat about your experiences and bond over fun activities, all while learning more about IBD. Feel confident that you can live fearlessly with IBD. You’ve got this!
To join YEP! Online you must:
- Be aged 12- 17 years
- Be diagnosed with either Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis or IBD unspecified
- Submit the online YEP! Online registration
- Validate your identity
How do I join?
- Go to the membership page and fill in the details about you
- You will need to read and agree to our Code of Conduct
- Add some contact details for your parent/guardian
Then what?
- You’ll get an email confirming we’re working on it
- CCA staff will contact your parents to confirm you can join
- Within a fortnight you’ll get an email confirming your approval with a link to YEP! Online
- Wham, that’s it you’re in!
Password Tips
- Make it simple but memorable.
- Avoid any sensitive personal information (name, birth date, hometown, suburb, etc.).
- Include numbers, letters, and symbols.
- Use a capital letter.
- Make it something you will remember but others won’t think of.
- Make it long.
