GP Resources
CCA has partnered with the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) to support general practitioners to participate in IBD management more effectively through awareness, education, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
IBD is increasing in prevalence in Australia and it is estimated that the prevalence of IBD will increase to 100,000 by 2022. Currently many patients with IBD receive suboptimal care. To assist healthcare professionals in the management of IBD, this centralised webpage aims to provide GPs, general gastroenterologists, general physicians and allied healthcare professionals with high quality guidelines and tools.
