Provide volunteer support
Volunteers are an integral part of the CCA community and are located across Australia. By dedicating a few hours on a one-off or regular basis, our volunteers provide valued support to the IBD community.
Support Group Facilitator Roles
Support Group Facilitators co-ordinate and facilitate support group meetings (monthly or bimonthly). Support Group meetings aim to reduce personal distress and strengthen the belief that an individual with IBD can manage their unique personal challenges.
Or, you may want to start as a Back-up Facilitator to assist the Facilitator to ensure the group can always meet regularly. We are currently seeking interest for Support Group Facilitators to establish groups in the following areas:
- Newcastle NSW
- Darwin NT
- Northern Beaches NSW
We are also in need of back-up facilitators for the following groups:
- Northern Beaches NSW
- Launceston TAS
- Adelaide SA
- Burwood (Sydney) NSW
Expressions of interest in the above roles can be made via email to our Volunteer and Programs Coordinator: [email protected], or by calling 03 9815 1266 (option 4) during business hours AEST.
Volunteer Teams
Volunteer Teams are designed to increase CCA’s reach into local communities and enhance the quality of services provided to CCA members and all individuals living with or affected by IBD.
